Thanks for all the congrats on the job! I really appreciate them. I ordered my new uniform today- so excited to be out of my student nurse uniform. I’m looking after my own patients now so I’m in a strange limbo period. However, there’s still lots to learn so I’m trying to make the most of this transition time.
Since the stress in my life is easing my IBS has been proving, hurrah. I’ve been experimenting with my diet a bit but only to be reminded that limiting FODMAPs and eating a pre-dominantly vegan diet is the best way to manage my IBS (regardless of how stressed I am). Phew. And mentally I feel so much better for it.

Does anyone else feel better when vegetables are the stars of the show for most of the time?
I’ve been incredibly lazy with packed lunches but over the past week I’ve been trying to get back into the swing with my salad boxes.
However, the colder it gets the less I crave salads and the more I crave soups, roasted veg, vegetable stews and other more heartier fare.
What about you guys? Salads or stews when winter rolls by?
